Contact usFounded in 1857, the Museum of Printed Fabrics comes from a long tradition of public museum projects headed by manufacturers from Mulhouse. In addition to learning about the history of textile printing in Mulhouse, Alsace and the world, you can admire an exceptional collection of fabrics and machines. More than 6 million examples have been preserved in the museum’s collections and they still served as a source of inspiration today for the major design houses and designers: Kenzo, IKEA, Ladurée, Hermès…
Each year, a major temporary exhibition is organised, in partnership with a leading name from the world of fashion: Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Christian Lacroix, Hermès, Chantal Thomass…
In 2017, the exhibition “From Lanvin to Azzaro… Haut Couture in Colour” explores the most iconic creations of major 20th century designers.
